![]() ![]() We are delighted to have Kobi join Abbey Road as Senior Mix Technician for the Mix Stage. His success on Da Vinci's Demons led Kobi to a well-earned promotion as Mix Technician and soon the credits rolled in: Free Fire, Spectre, The Legend of Tarzan Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children to name a few. Quickly moving up the ranks and after a brief stint assisting, Kobi worked on the TV show Da Vinci's Demons, where he had to take over as the leading Mix Technician after just a few episodes. The term visual effects (VFX) refers to the imagery developed, manipulated, or improved for a film or other type of moving media without involving any live-action shooting. Spending so much of his childhood in this creative environment led him to complete an Audio Engineering Diploma at the SAE Institute in Berlin.After graduation Kobi was tempted by the bright lights of London where he moved to broaden his knowledge of sound post production and found himself in the exciting world of film sound as a runner at Warner Bros De Lane Lea. Commercials have their own award ceremonies, own superstar directors and most importantly own identity within the film industry. These positions include writing, directing, producing, camera operation, cinematography, sound recording, and picture and sound editing. ![]() Kobi is no stranger to music studios having grown up assisting his musician father in his own production studio in Accra, Ghana. ![]()
